At Bodywork Education, we are committed to providing high-quality education and mentorship for massage therapists. To ensure fairness and clarity, please review the following policies before registering for a class, mentorship program, or educator training track.
In-Person CE Classes
-
Deposits: All deposits for in-person classes are non-refundable.
-
Balance Due: The remaining tuition balance is due 2 weeks before the class start date.
-
Rollover Policy: Registrations may be rolled over one time only for a fee of $75, provided the request is made at least 2 weeks before the class start date.
-
No-Shows / Late Cancellations: Students who cancel less than 2 weeks before class or fail to attend forfeit all payments and are not eligible for rollover or refund.
-
Minimum Enrollment: Classes may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met. Students will then be offered a full refund or the option to roll over into another course.
-
Weather Cancellations: If severe weather or other local emergencies require cancellation, the same options as instructor cancellations (below) will apply.
-
Students may transfer their registration to another qualified therapist if they are unable to attend.
-
Transfer requests must be submitted in writing at least 3 weeks prior to the class start date.
-
Transfers are allowed one time per registration.
-
Any transfers requested less than 3 weeks before the class start date will forfeit the deposit and/or be subject to review.
-
Instructor Cancellations
In the event an instructor must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances:
-
Students may roll over their registration to the next available date of the same class, apply credit to another course of equal or lesser value, or request a full refund.
Online CE Courses
-
Access Policy: Once an online/self-paced course is opened or downloaded, no refunds will be issued.
-
Transfers: Online course access may not be transferred to another student.
Mentorship Programs
-
Deposits & Payments: Mentorship deposits are non-refundable. Remaining balances may be paid in full or through a monthly payment plan spanning the duration of the program, as agreed upon in the enrollment contract.
-
Cancellations & Refunds: Once a therapist has officially agreed to enter a mentorship, the program is considered commenced. Participants are not eligible for refunds, regardless of how much time remains in the program. The remaining balance is still required according to the agreed payment plan.
-
A-La-Carte Services: A-la-carte items (individual mentorship components) are non-refundable once services have begun.
-
Scheduling: Mentorship sessions are scheduled individually and tailored to participant needs. Adjustments to session times can be made with advance notice, but the program’s start date marks the official commencement.
Educator Training & Curriculum Development Tracks
-
Deposits & Payments: Deposits are non-refundable. Higher-tier programs may include a monthly payment plan option, detailed in the enrollment agreement.
-
Cancellations & Refunds: Once a therapist has agreed to enter an educator training program, the program is considered commenced. Participants are not eligible for refunds, and remaining payments are still due according to the agreed payment plan.
-
Scheduling: Educator training sessions are scheduled individually and tailored to participant needs. Adjustments to timing may be made on a case-by-case basis, but program commencement marks the start of financial and enrollment obligations.
-
A-La-Carte Services: A-la-carte items (curriculum development, application prep, or credential support) are non-refundable once services have begun.
Emergencies & Extenuating Circumstances
We understand that unexpected life events may occur. Requests for exceptions (e.g., serious illness, family emergencies) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Documentation may be required.
